About Me
My quilt journey began in high school. I was reeling from my first heartbreak one winter in Wisconsin, and the boiler in my school went out. It was so cold in my classes that I started wearing the comforter off of my bed to school each day. Soon, other students started wearing their blankets to class too. It seemed like such a natural solution! Why not wear something that brings both comfort and warmth? It became such a problem that the administration soon forbade wearing blankets on school property.
I didn’t expect to become a quilter, but the idea of clothing that brings both warmth and comfort left an impression on me. So now I make wearable blankets that are socially acceptable to wear in any setting.
Kind Words
Windsor is so kind and creates a supportive learning environment. Her enthusiasm and encouragement made the class such a great experience.
